Being the Lead Champion for the Race, Identity and Belonging Resource Group at Brit has not only enhanced my passion for making an impact, it has given me the confidence to share my background and stories with the ERG and the wider Brit Group, which in turn has helped me learn so much about myself and my history. We champion inclusion and diversity and discuss important historic and current topics, collaborating, sharing ideas and resources, having important conversations that allow us to learn from each other and coordinate how and what we can do to achieve our goals for I&D. It’s given me the opportunity to engage with our Brit partnerships and amplify our voices, bringing our vision to life. I have connected with many different people who I can laugh and chat with. We talk about subjects we all feel passionate about and champion being a real part of positive change.
