Talking about inclusion

  • Our flexible holiday policy means you can choose 8 days a year linked to a public or national holiday, religious belief or culture - instead of the UK’s standard Bank Holidays.
  • External speakers programme: opening our eyes to diverse experiences.
  • Employee Resource Groups representing faith, gender Equality, LGBTQ+ and trans experiences, mental health, multigenerational workforce, neurodiversity, visible and non-visible disabilities and race and belonging
  • Partnerships and engagement with a range of change-driving organisations.

We care deeply about your health and wellbeing

Our Health and Wellbeing strategy focuses on building a positive culture, where employees recognise both mental and physical health are supported equally, and where we are all encouraged to have open conversations about Mental Health.

Our Mental Health Group exists as a safe space to talk about mental health issues and raise awareness about mental health in our organisation. Training and awareness sessions also help us recognise the signs of common mental health issues and to support each other.

We also offer a variety of physical wellbeing benefits including a cycle-to-work scheme, discounted gym memberships, plus access to healthcare benefits. Find out more about work/life balance at Brit.

Supporting your charities

You can get involved in volunteering for a charity, or fundraising for them. We’ll match every £1 raised with £2, or we can give to a charity close to your heart directly through payroll. Our employees also nominate 10 charities each year for Brit to support.

At Brit we see insurance as far more than a simple transaction – every risk we write and every claim we manage is underpinned by our determination to be open, honest and fair.
