Brit Ltd (“Brit”) is pleased to announce that Marie Hill has been promoted to the role of Group Head of Claims.
As Group Head of Claims, Marie will lead Brit’s global claims practice and take responsibility for the team servicing Lloyd’s Syndicates 2987, 2988 and 1618 (Ki).
Marie, who was previously Deputy Group Head of Claims, has spent over 20 years in the London Market in both claims and underwriting roles. Marie has been at Brit since 2014, she is a Chartered Insurer and Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and graduated in Business Law.
Brit has established an excellent reputation for both innovation and service in its claims approach. Brit’s market leading initiatives, including the use of machine learning and aerial imagery to expedite post event settlement coupled with the ability to pay claims faster from instant access to funds under the Future at Lloyd’s Faster Claims Payments solution (FCP), have moved the market another step closer to fully digitalizing the claims adjusting and settlement process.
Marie will continue to report to Sheel Sawhney, Brit’s Group Chief Operations Officer.
