Martin Thompson - Brit CEO and Executive Chairman of Ki

Martin Thompson joined Brit in 2021 as Interim CEO and became Group CEO and Executive Chairman of Ki in November 2022.

Martin is a highly experienced CEO whose career in the insurance industry spans over 30 years. Prior to joining Brit, Martin held a number of International Group leadership positions at RSA including President & CEO RSA Canada, SVP Commercial & Specialty Lines and Chief Underwriting Officer & Chief Risk Officer at RSA Scandinavia.

Martin is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a member and past Chair at the Insurance Institute of Canada. He has held previous Board Director positions at the Insurance Bureau of Canada and the Property & Casualty Insurance Compensation Corporation. Martin is a graduate of the University of Glasgow.
