Ki appoints Catherine Barton as Commercial Director

Ki, the first fully digital and algorithmically-driven Lloyd’s syndicate, is pleased to announce the appointment of Catherine Barton as Commercial Director. Catherine will join Ki’s Executive Management Committee and report to Mark Allan, CEO.

As Commercial Director, Catherine’s responsibilities will include oversight of Ki’s financial performance, developing Ki’s strategic partnerships and working closely with the management team to deliver Ki’s commercial strategy and growth initiatives.

Catherine was most recently Chief Insurance Officer at Zego and prior to this Chief Financial Officer at Talbot Underwriting Limited. She has also held senior executive management roles at Bupa UK and been a Partner at both EY and Deloitte.  Catherine is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and, in addition, served as a Non-Executive Director at Sabre Insurance Group between 2017 and 2021.
