Jonathan has been at Brit since 2003 and is currently Managing Director FinPro and Cyber, a role he will continue to hold alongside his new responsibilities as Active Underwriter for 2988. He was previously Deputy Active Underwriter for 2988. Simon Bird will continue his role as Group Executive Underwriter.

Syndicate 2988 is Brit’s second syndicate. It follows business written by Brit’s lead Syndicate 2987 as well as additional third-party business. In 2024 it wrote £181 million.
